social-media-app is a private publishing utility operated by Robert Ladstätter. It uses Meta’s official APIs to publish approved content to Facebook Pages managed by the operator.

Purpose#

The app supports coordinated social-media publishing for independently branded software products, including:

  • LogoRRR
  • Simple Camera App
  • Squoku

Additional Pages may be connected when they are operated by the same developer. The app is not offered as a public login service, third-party publishing platform, or customer-facing software-as-a-service product.

How It Works#

The operator authorizes the app with Facebook and selects a managed Page. Each Page has its own Page ID and access token. Approved post text and media are then sent to that Page through the Facebook Pages API.

The automation verifies the Page identity before publishing and records limited publication metadata, such as the resulting post ID, permalink, and publication time.

Facebook Permissions#

The app may request the following permissions for the operator’s account:

  • pages_show_list to identify Pages managed by the operator
  • pages_manage_posts to create and manage Page posts
  • pages_read_engagement to read Page identity and publication information required for verification
  • public_profile as part of Facebook authentication

These permissions are used only for Pages deliberately connected by the operator.

Facebook remains responsible for data processed on its own platform under Meta’s terms and policies.
